The Bixolon SLP-DX220 is a compact desktop printer capable of printing labels using direct thermal technology. It is particularly well-suited for small labels, such as those used in the food service industry, or for wristbands used for patient identification in hospitals. The SLP-DX220 can be paired with various devices—whether running Windows, Android, or iOS—since the manufacturer provides all necessary drivers and SDKs. The printer has a standard print resolution of 203 dpi, but a 300 dpi version is also available with the SLP-DX223.
With the SLP-DX220, special attention was paid to a space-saving design and easy handling. Loading media is particularly user-friendly thanks to adjustable paper guides and automatic paper detection. Media with a width of 15–60 mm can be loaded, with a maximum outer roll diameter of 130 mm. The maximum print width of the SLP-DX220 is 54 mm.
