Newland HR23 Dorada

The Newland HR23 Dorada is the successor to the HR22 Dorada and impresses with its enhanced scanning performance and battery life. The HR23 Dorada handheld scanner is available in both a corded and a Bluetooth version. Thanks to its built-in key decoding technology, the scanner can read 1D and 2D barcodes—regardless of whether the codes are distorted, damaged, or have a high density. Its wide field of view fully covers both horizontal and vertical orientations. Switching back and forth between barcode types is also no problem, ensuring a smooth scanning process. The HR23 Dorada is particularly well-suited for retail, hospitality, healthcare, and package delivery services. With its IP52 certification, it can withstand drops from a height of 1.5 m.

As a Bluetooth model, the HR23 Dorada features Bluetooth 5.0 and an easily replaceable 2600 mAh battery. The battery provides 12 hours of continuous operation and can be swapped out for a spare at any time, resulting in only a brief interruption. The newly designed charging contacts ensure a reliable and durable connection and extend the battery’s service life. The Newland handheld scanner also offers various communication modes, such as synchronous, asynchronous, and batch modes. The corded HR23 Dorada can be used with various stands for hands-free scanning. This makes it easy to scan items quickly and smoothly at the POS, for example.
