The PowerScan 9100 Series offers the same reliable performance when scanning 1D codes and is suitable for a wide range of applications. The wireless models, the PBT9100 and PM9100, can be mounted on a forklift using a Vehicle Mount Terminal (VMT), providing a complete solution for industrial warehouse applications. The PowerScan PBT9100 is based on the Bluetooth 3.0 wireless standard and can be configured to comply with either Class 1 or Class 2. With a wide range of host interfaces, the scanner can be connected to the host via the receiving base station. Alternatively, the scanner can be connected directly to a standard or integrated Bluetooth-compatible device. To meet the diverse needs of customers, the PowerScan PM9100 series includes several models, including a wireless base model and two models with a display and a keyboard featuring either 4 or 16 keys.
The PowerScan 9100 series from Datalogic features new technology that provides an innovative, laser-like green scan line. This combination brings together the characteristics of a laser with the advantages of a linear imager. The series includes both corded and cordless versions. The cordless version is equipped with either Bluetooth wireless technology (PBT9100) or Datalogic’s STAR Cordless System 2.0 (PM9100), a proprietary narrowband wireless system. The PowerScan 9100 series was developed for use in extreme environmental conditions and is therefore suitable for harsh and demanding applications. The wireless models feature a hook that allows them to be suspended for maximum workplace productivity. A quick battery change in just 3 seconds, combined with a single- or multi-slot battery charger, enables uninterrupted operation (wireless models only). All models feature multi-interface capabilities, including RS-232, keyboard wedge, and USB. The 9100 Series is fully supported by Datalogic’s Aladdin configuration software, which provides a user-friendly interface for setup and device programming. Additionally, the 9100 Series features Datalogic’s exclusive 3GL (3 Green Lights) for excellent read feedback.
