Bixolon XD3-40 Series Desktop Printer

The Bixolon XD3-40 series includes the XD3-40d and XD3-40t models, where “d” stands for direct thermal printing and “t” stands for thermal transfer printing.
The XD3-40 is a compact desktop printer used in manufacturing, as well as in retail, shipping, and even the healthcare sector.

Thanks to its simple paper feed with adjustable media guides and the ability to replace the printhead and roller without tools, the XD3-40 is an easy-to-use and reliable printer.
It is compatible with all common printer languages (SLCS, BPL-Z, and BPL-E) and, thanks to its support for Smart Switch, enables seamless integration into existing installations. The XD3-40 comes standard with a USB interface, but RS232 and Ethernet connections are also available as options.

In addition, the XD3-40 features 64 MB of SDRAM and 128 MB of flash memory. The XD3-40 prints at a resolution of 203 dpi at a maximum speed of 127 mm/sec, which is quite impressive for a desktop printer.
The maximum print width is 104 mm, and the media can range in width from 15 to 118 mm. The roll core must be 25.4 mm or 38.1 mm, and the outer diameter can be up to 127 mm.
When printing using the thermal transfer method, the appropriate transfer ribbon can be 33–110 mm wide and up to 300 m long. The roll core can be 12.7 mm or 25.4 mm.
If needed, the XD3-40 can also be equipped with a peel module, allowing your employees to apply the labels directly without having to peel them off the backing paper first.
