The PowerScan 9600 Series from Datalogic consists of industrial handheld scanners designed for extremely harsh environments. The PowerScan PBT9600 wireless model features Bluetooth 5.0 and can be paired with any Bluetooth-enabled device or the Bluetooth base station. The BC9600 base station/charger has a modular design and offers various interfaces for standard and industrial communication, such as RS-232, USB, standard Ethernet, and Industrial Ethernet protocols.

The PowerScan 9600 is equipped with Datalogic's wireless charging system. This inductive charging technology eliminates battery contacts and pins, which can become dirty, bent, or broken. This eliminates a common source of failure in industrial and retail environments. The PowerScan 9600 Area Imagers are available in three different optical options to meet a variety of requirements. The standard-range optic is suitable for most applications requiring barcode reading from a normal distance. The high-performance optic enables the decoding of high-density codes while improving depth of field for standard 1D/2D codes. The document capture model is optimized for reading codes at wide angles and for document capture applications.
