Zebra ZT421 Industrial Printer COSYS

The Zebra ZT421 is a rugged mid-range printer from the ZT400 series. It is suitable for medium print volumes, relatively large labels, and harsh environments. Thanks to its metal frame and metal media cover with an enlarged viewing window, the ZT421 is designed to be user-friendly despite its ruggedness, as media can be easily loaded or replaced through a side opening. The 4.3-inch color touchscreen provides access to the menu for quick operation and settings management, which the manufacturer designed to be intuitive to use. The printer’s status is quickly identifiable via two-color LEDs. The Zebra ZT421 is suitable for many applications—whether in manufacturing, transportation and logistics, or even in retail—making it an absolutely reliable all-around printer.

The ZT421 is available in 203 dpi and 300 dpi resolutions, allowing you to choose the appropriate option based on the barcodes, logos, and text you need to print. It is also available as either a thermal transfer or direct thermal printer. According to the manufacturer, the maximum print width is 168 mm at a speed of approximately 305 mm per second.
As standard, the ZT421 features a USB, an RS-232, and an Ethernet interface. Optionally, the printer can also be equipped with a parallel interface, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
For media handling, the ZT421 also offers optional accessories such as a label dispenser (peeler) with or without a take-up mechanism for the backing paper, or a cutter. Most of the interfaces and media handling options can be retrofitted later if your operational requirements change. It is also possible to encode RFID tags with this printer; the RFID option can be retrofitted as well.
Thanks to various firmware and printer language variants, as well as simple support tools, the ZT421 can be easily integrated into your system.
