Honeywell PD45 Industrial Printer

The Honeywell PD45 is a solidly built mid-range printer that is well-suited for industrial environments. Thanks to a minimal number of mechanical parts and a metal frame structure, the PD45 is durable even in harsh environments. Thanks to its advanced print head, the PD45 can print using both direct thermal and thermal transfer methods. The PD45 is also available as the PD45S variant, which offers a higher maximum print speed while the printers are otherwise nearly identical. The PD45 can be equipped with either a display or just LEDs that indicate the printer’s status. Both variants are easy to use and suitable for many applications, whether in manufacturing, logistics, or healthcare.

The PD45 is available in 203 dpi or 300 dpi and can also be equipped with a peeler and rewinder or a cutter, depending on what works best for your application. The maximum print width is 105.7 mm, and the media should not be wider than 114 mm. The label roll can have a 1-inch or 3-inch core and a maximum outer diameter of 203 mm. The maximum print length is 2.2 m. For thermal transfer printing, the transfer ribbon can have a maximum width of 110 mm, a maximum length of 450 m, and an outer diameter of 80 mm. Thanks to Honeywell’s dual-sensor technology, the print media is precisely positioned, resulting in more accurate printing. Depending on the configuration, the PD45 can be connected via USB, USB host, RS-232, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi. Thanks to an 800 MHz processor, your label jobs can be processed quickly and completed at a maximum print speed of 200 mm per second. Additionally, the PD45 features 128 MB of RAM and 128 MB of flash memory. The printer supports the FP, DP, IPL, ZSim2, and DPL printer languages.
