If you’re looking for a truly compact and reliable receipt printer for your business, the Bixolon SPP-R210 is the perfect companion for your employees. Whether they use the device in the food service industry or retail, as a mobile “receipt printer,” for package delivery services, or even as a printer for shipping labels, it’s ideal. And thanks to its dimensions of 7.9 x 11.6 x 3.65 cm and a weight of just 232 g, you can comfortably carry the SPP-R210 with you all day long.
The ideal use scenario involves pairing it with a tablet, smartphone, or MDE device, through which the documents to be printed are transmitted to the printer via Bluetooth. However, it’s also possible to use the USB or RS232 interface. Another option besides Bluetooth is Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition to the standard models, the SPP-R210 is also available in various configurations as a linerless version, allowing for printing on linerless materials (without backing paper). This saves time and reduces waste. Optionally, the Bixolon SPP-R210 can also be equipped with a magnetic card reader.
Media can be printed using direct thermal printing with a print resolution of 203 dpi and a maximum media width of 58 mm. The print width is 48 mm, and the media roll can have a maximum outer diameter of 30 mm. The print speed of the Bixolon SPP-R210 is up to 90 mm/sec, or up to 60 mm/sec for linerless materials. With an additional protective cover, the printer is IP54-rated and can withstand multiple drops from a height of 1.2 m onto concrete. Combined with an operating temperature range of -15° to 50°C, the SPP-R210 is therefore also well-suited for outdoor use. The printer is additionally equipped with 8 MB of SDRAM and 4 MB of flash memory, as well as a 1,200 mAh battery, which is included with the Bixolon SPP-R210. The manufacturer specifies a charging time of just 2.5 hours. Many accessory options are available for the Bixolon SPP-R210, such as charging stations, replacement batteries, battery chargers, protective cases, carrying straps, belt clips, and car mounts, allowing you to put together the right solution for any application.
