The Point Mobile PM452 is a high-performance handheld terminal designed specifically for demanding scanning applications in logistics, warehouse management, and manufacturing. At its core is a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, which, combined with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, enables noticeably fast data processing. Even in difficult lighting conditions or with damaged barcodes, the MDE device delivers reliable scan results. This is made possible by three selectable 1D/2D scan engine options, including a long-range variant with a reading range of up to 29 meters. A 13-MP camera with PDAF autofocus handles image documentation, delivering sharp images even under time pressure. The 4.3-inch IPS display with WVGA resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass supports multi-touch and, thanks to its high brightness, is easy to read even in daylight. The device is complemented by three keyboard variants—numeric, alphanumeric, and function-numeric—allowing the PM452 to be flexibly adapted to different workflows. An optional pistol grip further enhances user comfort during intensive scanning tasks and reduces hand fatigue during continuous use.

In addition to its outstanding scanning performance, the PM452 stands out for its modern and future-proof connectivity. Wi-Fi 6E ensures exceptionally stable and fast data transmission while reducing energy consumption and enhancing network security—ideal for businesses with high data volumes. An optional WWAN version with 4G LTE support and an integrated GNSS receiver for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou is available, allowing the device to be used continuously even outside the Wi-Fi network. A high-performance battery—available in either 4,000 mAh or 5,700 mAh capacities—ensures power for continuous operation; thanks to the hot-swap function, which includes a backup battery, it can be replaced without interrupting operation. In terms of ruggedness, the PM452 meets IP65 and IP67 protection ratings and can withstand drops from 2.0 meters onto concrete as well as 1,000 tumble cycles from a height of 1.0 meter. With an operating temperature range of -20 °C to 60 °C, the handheld terminal is also suitable for use in cold storage or outdoors. Through the PULS Lifecycle solution, users also benefit from regular Android security updates and an extended device lifespan for up to seven years.
