The Point Mobile PM68 is a rugged handheld computer designed specifically for the demanding day-to-day work in logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing. The combination of a 4.0-inch touchscreen and a physical keyboard with backlit dome keys ensures that users can enter data precisely and reliably, even while wearing gloves or when the screen is wet. Thanks to its IP67 certification, the PM68 is completely dustproof and protected against temporary submersion in water, while it withstands multiple drops from a height of 1.5 meters onto concrete in accordance with MIL-STD-810H. The operating temperature range of -20 °C to 50 °C makes the device ideal for use in cold storage facilities as well as in the field. The device runs on Android 15, which—thanks to the PULS Lifecycle solution—can be updated to Android 18, enabling a service life of up to seven years with regular security updates. For data capture, the PM68 integrates a powerful 1D/2D scan engine as well as a 13-MP camera with autofocus for additional photo documentation. In terms of connectivity, the device offers Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), NFC, and optional WWAN with LTE and GNSS support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou. The removable 4,150-mAh battery with hot-swap capability ensures continuous operation across multiple shifts without ever having to shut down the device. The device’s features are rounded out by a USB 2.0 Type-C port and two POGO interfaces for docking stations, allowing the PM68 to integrate seamlessly into existing charging infrastructures.
