For data capture, the PM84P features a high-performance, latest-generation 1D/2D imager. This imager has been specifically optimized for high scan speeds and reliably captures even damaged, low-contrast, or fast-moving barcodes on the first try. For long shifts without a charging break, two battery options are available: a standard battery with a capacity of 4,800 mAh or an extended battery with a capacity of 7,020 mAh. An integrated backup battery with a hot-swap function ensures that no session is interrupted during battery replacement and that applications continue to run in the background. The battery cover is permanently integrated, which increases durability and makes battery replacement in the field significantly easier.
