The Point Mobile PM86 is a rugged mobile computer designed for professional use in warehousing, logistics, and industry. At the heart of this enterprise-grade handheld is a Qualcomm octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, ensuring that demanding business applications run reliably. Connectivity is provided by modern Wi-Fi 6, including 2x2 MU-MIMO, which enables fast and stable data transmission even in heavily congested wireless networks. Optional 4G-LTE is also available, ensuring the mobile computer stays online at all times, even on the go. The 5-inch, daylight-readable FHD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and responds reliably to multitouch gestures even when wearing gloves. Compared to its predecessor, the PM85, the PM86 features an integrated battery cover that increases durability and significantly simplifies battery replacement during daily operations. Thanks to Enterprise Hot-Swap, the battery can be replaced without having to restart the device, ensuring that work processes continue without interruption. The handheld is available with either a standard 4,080 mAh battery or an extended-life 5,800 mAh battery, reliably covering a wide range of shift lengths and usage scenarios in everyday business operations.
